Biography

Lana was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where she initially discovered her true life passion for the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  In 2006 after winning both a gold medal at the Pan American and her debut Pro MMA fight,  she relocated to Northern California to progress her journey.

Today Lana Stefanac is a World, Pan American, and US National Champion in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  She is an IBJJF licensed Black Belt who’s achievements include numerous metals, awards, titles, and one phenomenal record.

 

Notable Accomplishments:
Undefeated in competition from White to Black Belt (Gi) without a point scored against her.
First American to Double Gold Medal in the Mundials (Gi)
Earned her BJJ Black Belt in <5 years.
Awarded “Best Female Grappler” – 2009
Inducted in the Black Belt Hall of Fame – 2010
